About the Role
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Interior Designer to join our team for large-scale hospitality and interior fit-out projects, including resorts, hotels, serviced apartments, and premium residential developments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating with consultants, and supporting project execution from concept to completion.
This role requires strong design skills, technical knowledge, project coordination abilities, and a practical understanding of interior execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development
- Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Create space planning layouts based on project requirements.
- Prepare furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, and detailed design drawings.
- Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with project objectives.
Technical Drawings & Documentation
- Prepare detailed working drawings and construction documentation.
- Develop furniture drawings, joinery details, wall elevations, and ceiling details.
- Coordinate with consultants and vendors for technical requirements.
- Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
Material & Finish Selection
- Select materials, finishes, fabrics, laminates, veneers, stones, hardware, lighting, and décor elements.
- Prepare material boards and finish schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for samples and approvals.
- Ensure selected materials meet project budgets and quality standards.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, procurement teams, and project managers.
- Attend project meetings and design review discussions.
- Work closely with site teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure smooth communication between all project stakeholders.
Site Supervision & Execution Support
- Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation.
- Verify dimensions and site conditions.
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist in resolving on-site design and detailing challenges.
Quality Control
- Review workmanship and finishing standards.
- Monitor installation quality for furniture, panelling, flooring, lighting, and decorative elements.
- Ensure project quality matches approved design intent.
Hospitality Project Responsibilities
- Design guest rooms, suites, public areas, restaurants, lounges, reception spaces, and recreational facilities.
- Maintain consistency in design standards across multiple units.
- Coordinate standard room layouts and room typologies.
- Develop efficient and repeatable design solutions suitable for large-scale hospitality projects.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp.
- Experience with V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or similar rendering software.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and presentation software.
- Understanding of construction details and interior execution processes.
Design Knowledge
- Strong understanding of hospitality interiors.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and space planning.
- Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget requirements.
Communication & Coordination
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with clients and consultants.
- Strong coordination and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience
- 3–5years of experience in interior design and project execution.
- Experience in hospitality, resort, hotel, commercial, or premium residential projects preferred.
- Experience working on turnkey interior projects will be an advantage.
