Job Description: Quality Control Engineer
Location: Pithampur Sector-3, Dhar (M.P.)
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Engineer to oversee quality assurance activities in a fabrication/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in inspection processes, quality documentation, client inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all quality control activities within the plant.
- Supervise and coordinate the QC team to ensure efficient quality operations.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products.
- Conduct client inspections and coordinate inspection schedules.
- Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process to minimize defects and rework.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure proper use of inspection instruments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 7–9 years in Quality Control within the Fabrication or Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding inspections, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques, quality documentation, and reporting.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and quality reporting.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Final salary will depend on the interview, experience, and current CTC.)
