Job role : Sr. Manager /Manager -SCM

Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Procurement (EV Fleet & Operations)
Lead procurement of EV vehicles, batteries, charging equipment, spare parts, and fleet-related assets Develop sourcing strategies for EV OEMs, battery suppliers, and charging infrastructure vendors Ensure timely availability of fleet assets to support operations and expansion plans Monitor market trends, pricing, and technology advancements in EV ecosystem
2. Indirect Procurement
Manage procurement of indirect categories such as IT equipment, office supplies, facility management, and services Optimize procurement costs through negotiations and long-term agreements Standardize procurement processes and policies across locations
3. Vendor Management & Coordination
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, service providers, and contractors Negotiate pricing, contracts, SLAs, and payment terms Monitor vendor performance, compliance, and service delivery Resolve escalations related to supply delays, quality issues, or service gaps
4. Procurement Planning & Inventory Management :
Collaborate with operations and fleet teams for demand planning and forecasting Ensure optimal inventory levels for spare parts and consumables Implement inventory control mechanisms to minimize stock-outs and overstocking
5. Cost Optimization & Budgeting
Drive cost-saving initiatives across procurement categories Prepare and manage procurement budgets Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for efficiency and savings
6. Compliance & Contract Management
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts and agreements Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
7. Process Improvement & Automation
Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain processes Drive digital transformation and automation in procurement systems (ERP, e-procurement tools) Strengthen internal controls and governance
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, and Fleet teams Align procurement strategies with business growth and expansion plans
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering 8–10 years of experience in procurement/SCM (EV, automotive, logistics, or fleet industry preferred)
Strong experience in both direct and indirect procurement Expertise in vendor management and contract negotiation Knowledge of EV ecosystem (OEMs, batteries, charging infra) is highly preferred
Pay: ₹14,587.79 - ₹1,200,000.00 per month
