Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to help drive business growth through lead generation, client outreach, relationship building, and sales support. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate potential leads through various channels.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups with prospective clients.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales/business teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client requirements and communicate them effectively to internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and business documents as required.
- Support negotiations and assist in closing business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support business growth initiatives.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and business development targets.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Tamil.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and engage with decision-makers.
- Basic understanding of B2B sales and business development processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, customer success, or a related role.
- Experience with CRM tools and LinkedIn prospecting is an advantage.
