About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and maintaining scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and improving software delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and CSS workflows using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Handle environment management across development, staging, and production — ensuring consistency and version control.
- Oversee configuration management and deployment strategies to maintain stable, repeatable releases.
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar tools.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to streamline software integration and release processes.
- Troubleshoot build failures, infrastructure issues, and deployment errors quickly and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on DevOps experience in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Proficiency with Git and modern branching workflows.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (including CSS and frontend asset pipelines).
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Skilled in environment management (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).
- Hands-on with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS/Azure/Kubernetes certifications (CKA, DCA, or equivalent).
- Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and frontend build automation (Webpack, CSS pipelines).
- Knowledge of security best practices, access control (IAM), and secrets management.
- Familiarity with agile workflows and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
