Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Fish Market Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wholesale and retail fish business. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales, handling cash collections, supervising employees, maintaining stock records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily sales operations and customer transactions.
- Handle cash collections, digital payments, and maintain accurate cash records.
- Prepare and submit daily sales and cash reports to the owner.
- Supervise employees and assign duties at the workplace.
- Monitor stock and coordinate inventory management.
- Ensure timely opening and smooth functioning of the shop.
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain good customer relationships.
- Monitor expenses and prevent wastage.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in retail, wholesale or market operations.
- Experience in handling cash and managing a employees.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, billing, and record-keeping.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales is an added advantage.
