Job Summary
As a Front Staff/Counter Staff/Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for guests. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Assist with inquiries, reservations, and special requests.
- Front Desk Operations
- Operate the front desk systems and software to process bookings, payments, and guest data.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and rates.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to address guest needs.
- Customer Service
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
- Administrative Duties
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Manage cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare daily reports on guest arrivals, departures, and any incidents.
- Other Responsibilities
- Ensure the lobby area is clean and presentable at all times.
- Assist with special events or promotions as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management is a plus).
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, PMS) is an advantage.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: ₹15,299.70 - ₹21,889.02 per month
