Job Description: Supplier Quality Engineer - Mechanical Employment Details Location: Vadodara Employment Type: Contractual (1-year duration) Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday to Saturday) Compensation: Maximum CTC up to ₹4 Lakhs Per Annum Additional Note: This is an office-based role; accommodation and transportation are not provided by the company (applicable only to site-related roles). Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (Mechanical) for our office location in Vadodara. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and preparing quality plans, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and assessing various equipment and technical procedures. Key Responsibilities Quality Planning & Review: Review and prepare comprehensive Quality Plans for a wide range of equipment, including pumps, compressors, vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, pipes, valves, fittings, structural material, and fasteners. Procedure Evaluation: Review and prepare Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) for MS, CS, SS, and AS materials. Testing & Standards Compliance: Review NDT Procedures, Painting procedures/specifications, hydro test/pneumatic test procedures, and Positive Material Identification (PMI) processes. Code Deciphering: Read, interpret, and implement specifications and codes into actionable Quality Plans. Report Analysis: Thoroughly review Test Reports for all associated mechanical equipment and material packages. Required Qualifications & Experience Education: Full-time Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy Engineering from an AICTE-approved institute. Certifications: Valid Level II certification in RT, UT, and DPT as per ASNT TC-1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical quality engineering. Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of international codes and standards, including ASME/ASTM, DIN - ASME Sec IX, ASME Sec V, ASME Sec VIII, and ASME B 16 series.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
