Job Summary
The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards in polymer recycling production, including raw material inspection, process monitoring, testing of recycled granules, and final product approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming plastic scrap / lumps / powder quality
- Check material contamination level (metal, dust, moisture, foreign particles)
- Verify material segregation as per grade and colour
- Monitor extrusion process parameters (temperature, pressure, melt flow)
- Perform quality testing of recycled granules:
- MFI Test
- Moisture Test
- Density Test
- Ash Content Test
- Colour / Shade Matching
- Granule Size Uniformity
- Filter contamination checking
- Approve finished material before packing and dispatch
- Record test reports and maintain quality documents
- Identify process defects (black dots, contamination, moisture marks, uneven granules)
- Coordinate with production team for corrective action
- Monitor rejection / wastage and suggest improvements
- Ensure quality as per customer specification
- Maintain testing equipment calibration and cleanliness
- Support ISO / audit documentation if required
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech (Polymer / Plastic / Chemical / Mechanical)
Experience
- 2–5 years in polymer recycling / plastic extrusion quality control
Required Skills
- Knowledge of polymer grades (PP, HDPE, LDPE, ABS, etc.)
- Understanding of recycling process and extrusion line
- Quality testing instrument handling
- Reporting and documentation skills
- Good observation and troubleshooting ability

Pay: ₹10,683.77 - ₹23,562.25 per month
