Key Roles & Responsibilities
A. R&D Support
- Support breeding programs through field observations, implementation of trials, and agronomic recommendations.
- Provide practical suggestions, technical solutions, and agronomic inputs for crop development programs.
- Monitor trial plots, breeding nurseries, and product performance fields.
- Assist in execution of product evaluations, comparative trials, and crop performance studies.
- Maintain accurate records of field data, crop behavior, and trial outcomes.
B. Agronomic Solutions & Technical Advisory
- Provide technical guidance on crop production, pest management, disease control, and nutrient management.
- Recommend suitable pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers, and agronomic practices based on crop conditions.
- Diagnose field-level crop issues and provide practical corrective solutions.
- Support development of crop management protocols for company products.
- Ensure scientific and commercially viable agronomic recommendations.
C. Sales Team Technical Training & Support
- Train sales teams on:
- Crop management practices
- Disease identification
- Pest management
- Recommended pesticide and solution usage
- Field-level farmer advisory
- Build technical competency of sales teams to improve farmer communication.
- Support sales teams during product launches, farmer meetings, and field demonstrations.
- Assist in resolving technical queries from field teams.
D. Field Implementation & Product Demonstration
- Implement agronomic activities related to:
- Demo plots
- Product trials
- Field days
- Crop shows
- Farmer training sessions
- Monitor field performance and provide technical feedback to management and R&D teams.
- Strengthen product acceptance through scientific demonstration.
E. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Ensure smooth implementation of technical strategies at field level.
- Provide product improvement suggestions based on field observations and market feedback.
- Support business growth through technical product positioning.
F. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of:
- Research trials
- Product performance
- Disease observations
- Pest management recommendations
- Sales team training sessions
- Farmer technical support activities
- Prepare technical reports for Sr. Breeder and management.
- Ensure timely reporting of field developments and agronomic findings.
G. Professional Development & Compliance
- Stay updated on latest agronomy practices, disease management solutions, and crop technologies.
- Ensure compliance with company R&D and technical protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and scientific integrity in all responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support new product development initiatives.
- Participate in strategic agricultural planning.
- Assist in product troubleshooting and field complaint management.
- Strengthen technical brand image of the company.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement across agricultural operations.
- Monitor daily farm operations including sowing, irrigation, fertilization, crop protection, and harvesting activities.
- Ensure timely implementation of crop schedules and seasonal agricultural operations.

Preferred Qualification
- B.Sc. Agriculture / M.Sc. Agriculture / Agronomy / Plant Breeding or related field
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
