- Perform rack & stack, server hardware installation, and physical deployment of IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot physical servers (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, etc.), storage arrays (SAN/NAS), and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers).
- Handle structured cabling (copper and fiber), cable management, labeling, and patching as per data center standards.
- Deploy and configure virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM).
- Perform OS-level basic configuration (Windows Server & Linux) and initial system setup.
- Execute network configurations at the access/distribution layer (VLANs, trunking, basic routing, IP addressing).
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and commissioning of newly deployed IT infrastructure.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting during implementation and go-live phases.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation — as-built diagrams, rack elevation sheets, configuration records, and handover documents.
