- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing fertility and IVF treatment.
- Assist fertility specialists during consultations, examinations, IUI, IVF procedures, embryo transfer, and minor OT procedures.
- Prepare patients for investigations, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and other clinical procedures as per protocol.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV fluids, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Educate patients on IVF treatment protocols, medication schedules, self-injection techniques, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures, ensuring timely reporting of any abnormalities to the treating doctor.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, treatment charts, medication documentation, consent forms, and patient files.
- Ensure strict infection control practices, maintain OT and procedure room sterility, and adhere to quality and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with fertility specialists, embryologists, anesthetists, laboratory staff, and patient coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families while maintaining confidentiality and delivering high standards of patient-centered care.
