Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Engineer (Solar EPC) to manage and support the execution of Solar EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, site execution, installation supervision, commissioning, quality control, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of solar power projects within timelines and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities: • Manage and supervise Solar EPC projects from site survey to commissioning and handover. • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations. • Prepare project plans, BOQ verification, material requirement planning, and execution schedules. • Supervise installation activities of Solar PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, and associated electrical systems. • Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution. • Monitor project progress and resolve technical and operational issues at site. • Conduct testing, commissioning, performance validation, and project handover activities. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, daily progress reports, inspection reports, and commissioning records. • Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies. • Support procurement and logistics teams in technical evaluation and material inspections. • Provide technical guidance to site teams and contractors during project execution. • Assist in operation and maintenance support during the defect liability period, if required.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Experience • 2 to 5 years of experience in Solar EPC projects, including installation, commissioning, and project execution. • Experience in rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants will be preferred.
Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems, inverters, SCADA/Data Monitoring Systems, HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, and switchgear. • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layout drawings, and technical specifications. • Knowledge of project execution, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance processes. • Familiarity with MNRE guidelines, electrical safety standards, and industry best practices. • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
Personal Skills • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project activities. • Willingness to travel extensively across project locations PAN India.
