Job Description
Job Summary
This role is for a Project Execution Engineer responsible for providing technical support across all phases of engineering projects at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories—from design and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover. The position involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory codes, and timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing technical support throughout all phases of the project—design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover—to ensure smooth execution and compliance.

You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and cost estimates, contributing to accurate forecasting and resource allocation.

You will be responsible for coordinating with external stakeholders, including contractors and vendors, to support timely and quality-driven project execution.

You will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams such as operations, manufacturing, and quality assurance to align project activities under the guidance of the Team Lead or Project Manager.

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation, and evaluating contractor and vendor proposals for compliance.

You will be responsible for monitoring project progress, compiling performance data, and reporting deviations from the plan to the Team Lead or Project Manager.

You will be responsible for performing inspections and tests of project deliverables, ensuring adherence to Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’QA/QC procedures and applicable standards.

You will be responsible for identifying and escalating project issues, contributing to problem-solving meetings, and documenting resolutions to support continuous improvement and future reference.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Graduation in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biotechnology Engineering or related field is mandatory.
Minimum work experience: 3-5+ years.

Critical Exposures

Experience in installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) of plant equipment and systems in a GMP environment is desired.

Experience in using project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD) for project execution is desired.

Exposure in the setup and calibration of plant engineering equipment and systems in accordance with design specifications is preferred.

Exposure to maintaining regulatory compliance during the execution of engineering tasks in GMP environments is preferred.
