Key Responsibilities:
- Handle international customer inquiries related to pumps and pumping systems
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations based on customer requirements
- Understand application details (flow, head, liquid type, etc.) and suggest suitable pump models
- Coordinate with design / production / quality teams for technical clarifications
- Process export orders from enquiry to dispatch
- Prepare and manage export documents (PI, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.)
- Follow up with customers for order confirmation, payments, and shipment
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics teams
- Track order status and update customers regularly
- Maintain export MIS reports and customer database
- Support in international tenders and RFQs
Technical Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, or industrial pumps
- Understanding of pump selection parameters (Flow, Head, Efficiency, RPM)
- Ability to read GA drawings / technical datasheets
- Knowledge of Incoterms & export procedures
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP / Tally / similar)
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Soft Skills:
- Strong English communication (email & calls with international clients)
- Good coordination & follow-up skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
