analyseJob Purpose
Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the feed manufacturing plant & Hatchery , ensure timely accounting operations (bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, statutory compliance), support budgeting and cost-control activities specific to feed production, and provide reliable financial information to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain general ledger: post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings.
Accounts payable: process supplier invoices, verify purchase orders and GRNs, schedule payments, and maintain vendor records.
Accounts receivable: generate customer invoices, record receipts, reconcile customer accounts, and follow up on overdue payments.
Cost accounting: capture and analyse production costs (raw materials, labor, utilities, packaging), calculate unit costs, and maintain bill-of-material cost records.
Inventory accounting: reconcile physical feed and raw-material inventories with ERP/records, perform periodic stock valuation (FIFO/weighted average), and record adjustments.
Payroll & statutory: prepare payroll, calculate statutory deductions (EPF, ESI, professional tax), prepare and file GST returns and other statutory reports as required by law.
Financial reporting: prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, cash flow statements, and ad-hoc financial reports for plant/management.
Budgeting & forecasting: assist in annual budgets and monthly forecasts, track budget vs. actuals, and highlight key variances and improvement opportunities.
Internal controls & compliance: enforce accounting policies, support internal/external audits, implement process controls to prevent errors and fraud.
Banking & cash management: manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, plant-level cash handling, and maintain relationships with bankers.
Supporting plant operations: work with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate costing, timely supplier payments, and resolution of finance-related operational issues.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
