Job Title: Executive Chef – Catering Operations
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a strong background in large-scale catering operations to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food production, kitchen operations, quality control, team management, and ensuring seamless execution of catering services across multiple sites and events.
The candidate should have experience managing high-volume food production while maintaining exceptional quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end kitchen and catering operations.
- Plan and execute menus for corporate catering, institutional catering, events, and large-scale food service operations.
- Manage food production for high-volume meal requirements while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Lead, train, and supervise chefs, cooks, kitchen supervisors, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, inventory, and kitchen budgets.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely food dispatch and service delivery.
- Develop and standardize recipes, portion sizes, and kitchen SOPs.
- Conduct regular quality audits across kitchen and catering sites.
- Manage procurement planning and vendor coordination for food supplies.
- Ensure client satisfaction through consistent food quality and service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 8–15 years of culinary experience with at least 3–5 years in an Executive Chef or Senior Kitchen Management role.
- Proven experience in large-scale catering, industrial catering, corporate cafeterias, hospitals, educational institutions, airline catering, or hospitality operations.
- Experience handling high-volume meal production.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, inventory management, and manpower planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple kitchen locations and catering projects.
- Strong focus on quality, hygiene, and operational excellence.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
