Admission Counsellor
Experience: 3–8 Years
Vijaybhoomi University is looking for high-energy admission counsellors who can combine empathy with execution. This role is not about reading from a script or pushing programmes. It is about understanding the aspirations, concerns and decision-making process of students and parents, and helping them identify the academic pathway that best aligns with their goals.
The ideal candidate is an excellent listener before being a persuasive speaker. You should be able to ask the right questions, uncover motivations, build trust quickly and guide families towards informed decisions. At the same time, you must be comfortable working in a target-driven environment and possess strong sales instincts, follow-through and conversion capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents through the admissions journey.
- Understand student aspirations and recommend suitable programmes and pathways.
- Conduct telephonic, virtual and in-person counselling sessions.
- Manage enquiries, follow-ups and conversions through the CRM system.
- Participate in outreach events, open houses and admission campaigns.
- Consistently achieve application, enrolment and conversion targets.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven sales or counselling track record.
- Ability to listen actively, think on their feet and handle objections professionally.
- Self-driven, disciplined and outcome-oriented.
