We are Production Manger is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring day-to-day production activities in the sheet metal fabrication shop. The role ensures that production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Execution
- Execute daily production activities as per production plan.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Coordinate with Planning, Design, Quality, and Stores departments.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Sheet Metal Fabrication Operations
- Supervise CNC Laser Cutting operations.
- Monitor CNC Bending and Forming activities.
- Coordinate Welding and Assembly operations.
- Monitor fabrication processes and production quality.
- Ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Productivity & Process Improvement
- Monitor production efficiency and reduce process wastage.
- Improve machine utilization and productivity.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Control
- Ensure production activities comply with quality requirements.
- Coordinate with QA department for inspections.
- Address production quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production quality records.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication Processes.
- Understanding of CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, Welding, and Assembly.
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of production planning and shop floor management.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems and ISO 9001:2015.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
