JCB Driver / JCB Operator
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operate the JCB machine safely and efficiently for excavation, loading, leveling, trenching, and material handling works.
- Perform daily machine inspection before starting work, including:
- Engine oil
- Hydraulic oil
- Coolant level
- Tyre condition
- Brakes and lights
- Ensure proper handling of the machine as per company safety procedures and SOPs.
- Follow the instructions of the Site Engineer, Supervisor, or Management during operations.
- Maintain discipline and avoid rash or negligent driving at the work site.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading activities without causing damage to materials, equipment, or property.
- Keep the JCB machine clean and report any mechanical issues or breakdowns immediately to the maintenance team.
- Maintain fuel usage records, machine logbook, and daily work reports if required.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while working near employees, vehicles, or production areas.
- Avoid unauthorized usage of the machine and ensure the key is handed over to the authorized person after duty.
- Support maintenance activities and coordinate with the service team during repairs or servicing.
- Follow all company rules, attendance policies, and safety regulations.
- Be available for rotational shifts, overtime, or emergency work whenever required.
- Ensure zero accident and damage during operation.
Required Skills:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle / Equipment Operating License
- Experience in operating JCB or earthmoving equipment
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance
- Knowledge of safety practices
- Ability to understand supervisor instructions
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience
- Basic communication in Tamil or English
- Physically fit and disciplined
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
