Job Summary
We are hiring a Social Media Manager to lead our social presence and growth on-site in Kolkata. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience managing YouTube channels, running high-performance ads on X (Twitter), and growing a strong LinkedIn presence—with a strong preference for Personal Branding expertise. You will plan, execute, and optimize content and campaigns across platforms to drive reach, engagement, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- YouTube Channel Management: content calendar, uploads, SEO, thumbnails coordination, titles/descriptions, playlists, analytics, growth strategy
- Plan and manage content across platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook) aligned with brand goals
- Run and optimize X performance ads (campaign setup, targeting, creatives coordination, A/B testing, reporting, ROI focus)
- Drive LinkedIn growth for company pages and/or founder profile (content strategy, positioning, engagement, reach building)
- Build and manage personal branding strategy (tone, messaging, narrative, content pillars, visibility plan)
- Collaborate with designers/video editors to create high-quality, trend-relevant content (reels/shorts, carousels, posts)
- Track KPIs: reach, engagement, watch time, CTR, follower growth, leads/inquiries; present weekly/monthly reports
- Stay updated with trends, platform changes, and best practices; suggest new formats and experiments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a Social Media Manager (agency or in-house)
- Proven experience in YouTube channel growth (organic + analytics-led strategy)
- Hands-on experience running X (Twitter) performance ads
- Demonstrated success growing LinkedIn profile/page (especially founder/personal brand growth)
- Strong understanding of content strategy, storytelling, hooks, and audience building
- Ability to plan calendars, manage deadlines, and coordinate with creative teams
- Strong communication and copywriting skills (English; Hindi/Bengali is a plus)
- Comfortable working full-time on-site in Kolkata (6 days/week)
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience building personal brands for founders, coaches, consultants, or CXOs
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO tools and workflows
- Understanding of lead funnels and conversions from social
- Basic design sense (Canva) and ability to brief creatives clearly
