Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Lab Chemist for Iron Mine operations with 8+ years of relevant experience. The candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis of iron ore samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality standards, and supporting mining operations through accurate testing and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of iron ore samples.
- Perform testing for Fe, SiO₂, Al₂O₃, moisture, and other mineral parameters.
- Prepare and analyze laboratory samples accurately.
- Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with mining and production teams regarding test results.
- Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals and laboratory consumables.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and mineral analysis.
- Experience in handling lab instruments and testing equipment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality control systems.
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
Qualification:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or related field preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mining, iron ore laboratory, or mineral testing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and under operational requirements.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
