Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor die and mould development projects.
- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with design, CNC machining, EDM, assembly, quality, and production teams.
- Review customer drawings and technical specifications.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
- Attend customer meetings and provide regular project status updates.
- Ensure tooling quality, trials, and final approvals are completed on time.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and change records.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in die and mould manufacturing or tooling projects.
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulds, press tools, or die-casting dies.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or NX) is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in customer coordination.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and tooling validation processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary
₹5–10 LPA (based on experience and skills)
