1. Hands on – Setup , administer and support MySQL databases servers for Production , QA and Development.
2. Hands on – Perform appropriate backup , restoration and upgrades of MySQL/Postgres instances.
3. Monitor databases for performance, bottlenecks and other issues, identify and deploy solutions.
4. Create / refine database complex queries, indexes, stored procedures & data mining.
5. Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
6. Experience in performance tuning and database monitoring tools.
7. Provide 24x7 support. Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle etc is a plus.
8. Proficient in performance tuning, database crash recovery and query optimization.
9. Experience with MySQL Replication setup and administration, with both Master-Slave and Master-Master replication.
10. Experience in MySQL Enterprise Audit, Enterprise Backup and Enterprise Monitoring tools
11. Knowledge on MySQL INNODB and NDB cluster solutions.
