Generating High quality 3D Models using BIM Software such as Autodesk Revit • Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D • Implementing automation in possible areas using Dynamo. • Clash deduction and quality assurance using Navisworks Manage. • Coordinate and account for changes in scope of work. • Knowledge of: Point cloud integration, IFC workflows, Dynamo scripting in Revit, Family creation in Revit, 4D/5D BIM concepts, Quantity take-off workflows • BIM collaboration and document management using Autodesk BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud - Upload, manage, and coordinate BIM deliverables through the project CDE platform. • BIM Execution Plan (BEP) • Rendering & Visualization using Lumion/Enscape/similar software
Software Required: AutoCAD 2D and 3D • Autodesk Revit • Navisworks • SketchUp • Autodesk BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud • Solibri Office • Lumion
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD. Experience in following is mandatory.
- BIM modelling for substations, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects
- Clash detection and coordination workflows
- BOQ/MTO extraction from BIM environment
- Working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Point cloud integration
- IFC workflows
- Dynamo scripting in Revit
- Family creation in Revit
- 4D/5D BIM concepts
- Quantity take-off workflows
- Experience working in a Common Data Environment (CDE) for document control, model sharing, version management, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Key responsibilities include;
- Ensure BIM models and deliverables comply with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), client standards, and project-specific modelling requirements.
- Follow agreed BIM workflows, LOD requirements, naming conventions, and coordination procedures defined in the BEP.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support implementation of BEP requirements across disciplines.
Good understanding of:
- Substation layouts and equipment
- Structural and electrical drawings
- Cable routing and underground utilities
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows is preferred.
- Exposure to rendering and visualization tools such as Lumion, Twin motion, Enscape, or equivalent software will be an added advantage.
