Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration, Puppet automation, and Kubernetes platform management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, maintaining, and optimizing scalable infrastructure environments while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Linux-based production and non-production environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Puppet.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in on-premises or cloud environments.
- Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and patching processes.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
- Implement infrastructure security best practices and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud teams for application deployments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized application deployments.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery activities
Required Skills
Linux Administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, etc.)
- System performance tuning and troubleshooting
- User, security, storage, and network management
- Shell scripting (Bash/Python)
Configuration Management
- Extensive experience with Puppet
- Puppet manifests, modules, Hiera, and environments
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
- Automated configuration deployment and compliance management

- Kubernetes cluster deployment and administration

Qualifications

- 5+ years of Kubernetes administration experience.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
