Job Description
We are looking for a proactive SQL Server DBA with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and optimize our database environments in Banking and Finance domain. You will ensure high database availability, data integrity, and peak performance while collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- DBA Operations: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances (2016 to 2022). Manage SQL Agent jobs and routine maintenance plans.
- Backup & Recovery: Implement and test robust backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery strategies.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor database health, resolve day-to-day bottlenecks (blocking, deadlocks), and optimize indexes and slow T-SQL queries.
- HA/DR Support: Monitor and troubleshoot basic High Availability / Disaster Recovery environments like Always On Availability Groups, Mirroring, or Log Shipping.
- Security Management: Manage logins, users, and role-based permissions to ensure strict data security.

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
