The Technical Project Manager II (TPM-II) independently manages moderately complex projects or multiple related workstreams with minimal oversight. The role owns delivery planning, dependency management, and risk resolution while making informed prioritization and execution decisions. TPM - II partners closely with Engineering leadership on technical trade offs, drives continuous improvements in delivery processes and metrics, and demonstrates readiness to manage program-level initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple related technical projects.
- Manage cross-workstream dependencies, critical paths, and delivery milestones.
- Own risk, issue, and escalation management with minimal supervision.
- Drive continuous improvements in delivery processes, governance, and program metrics.
- Partner with Engineering leads to evaluate technical trade-offs and delivery strategies.
- Coordinate execution across multiple Engineering and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- 4–7 years of experience in technical project or program management, preferably in a SaaS or product-based software company.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, dependencies, and release pipelines.
- Experience with data-driven project reporting, including velocity, burndown, and SLA tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and cross-functional negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using Generative AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency and automate workflows.
- Project Management certification such as PMP, CSM, or an equivalent certification is mandatory.
- MBA is an advantage.
