Managing Microbiology, Serology and Molecular Diagnostics department with respect to quality reporting of samples; manpower, material and equipment management and create a healthy environment for quality of service to be delivered.
● Reviewingculture plates, slides and reports in Microbiology.
● ReviewofELISA, Rapid card and automated serology parameters.
● ReviewofMolecular tests run and review of reports.
● Ensuringturnaround time of laboratory tests in Microbiology, Serology and Molecular Diagnostics departments.
● Reviewofstandard operating procedures for tests
● Conductingtraining sessions/ seminars for staff
● Monitoring compliance of staff with the laboratory safety norms
● Queryresolution on test reports and interaction with clinicians.
● Tooverseeequipment maintenance and new instrument installation.
● Revieweffective and rational utilization of kits and equipment
● Reviewofall Quality Assurance processes in order to ensure quality reports
● ReviewingValidation data of kits/ antibiotics/ media/ equipment prior to utilization at the laboratory bench
● Presenting the departments for Audits as and when necessary
● Instituting timely corrective actions for sub-optimal proficiency test results as well as any non-conformances raised during the audits
● Interpersonal relationship management to tackle unpleasant situations
● Helptoconductperiodic Competency checks and yearly performance appraisals of the staff with the department HOD
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
