Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Trainer with strong expertise in Blue Team operations, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Incident Response. The ideal candidate should have practical experience and deliver practical cybersecurity training and mentoring students by using real-world attack scenarios and enterprise security tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts that are generated from SIEM solutions.
- Investigate security incidents and figure out cause analysis
- Conduct log analysis to identify suspicious activates and threats
- Monitor and investigate windows Event viewer logs
- Perform threat hunting to actively identify security risks.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement measures.
Required Technical Tools
Candidates should have hands-on knowledge with the following tools:
- Splunk for security monitoring, log analysis, and threat detection.
- Wazuh, Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring, log analysis, and threat detection.
- Wireshark for network traffic analysis and packet inspection.
- Windows Event Viewer for monitoring and troubleshooting systems and security events.
- log analysis to identify security threats, suspicious activities, and Indicators of Compromise
- Incident Response including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Understanding of malware analysis techniques and malicious file investigation.
Qualifications
- Graduation - BCA, MCA, BTESCH, MTECH, BCOM, BSC
- Minimum 1 year of experience in blue teaming, SOC Operations, or Cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network security, and operating systems.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, EC-Council CSA, and CompTIA CySA+ are preferred.
