The IT department is responsible for the provision of hardware and software services. Hardware services include the provision and maintenance of Wi-Fi, CCTV, computers, printers, etc. Software services include the automation of business processes, such as procurement and inventory, admissions CRM, website, etc.

- Maintain and control computer networks and associated computing environments, including system software, application software, laptops, desktops, workstations, and configurations.
- Provide support for daily IT operations across the Academic Block, Student Housing, and upcoming campus buildings.
- Protect data, applications, and hardware by implementing, organizing, and enforcing network security measures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, network, and device-related issues.
- Manage and resolve issues related to Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and network segments.
- Maintain operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email systems, laptops, and desktop PCs.
- Support and maintain internal IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, telephones, security updates, internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Collaborate with the help desk and other teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide technical support.
- Perform routine and scheduled system audits, including backup verification and maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Manage and support Outlook and email services.
- Perform network troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain antivirus solutions to ensure system security.
- Manage firewalls and implement network security measures.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi systems and wireless networks.
- Conduct IT assessments, system audits, and support data recovery activities.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of computer hardware, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and related peripherals.
- Maintain and support CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install, configure, and update software applications as required.
- Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking, allocation, and lifecycle management.
- Provide support and maintenance for audio/video systems, including conferencing and presentation equipment.
