Role Overview
As a Senior Finance & Accounts professional at Simulanis, you will build and own the
company's finance function end-to-end. This is a high-ownership role where you will architect scalable financial processes from the ground up, drive strong execution, and serve as a genuine thought partner to the CEO.
You will run day-to-day financial operations while shaping strategic decision-making,
governance, and business growth. This role is built for someone who thrives on building systems from scratch, instilling discipline, and operating as a true Deputy CFO in the making—including readiness to lead the company through its transition to a public company.
3. Key Responsibilities
● Own end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and
month-end/year-end closures
● Deliver timely, accurate financial statements in full compliance with Ind AS and statutory
requirements
● Build airtight internal financial controls and maintain audit readiness at all times
● Design, implement, and continuously sharpen finance and accounting processes across the organization
● Build robust SOPs for accounting, invoicing, collections, vendor payments, reimbursements, and closures
● Partner with internal teams to drive ERP/accounting system optimization and automation
● Own statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance including GST, TDS, income tax, audits, and
filings
● Manage relationships with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and external advisors
● Deliver zero-surprise compliance and clean audit outcomes, every cycle

● Drive public company readiness—including SEBI/listing compliance, corporate governance standards, and end-to-end IPO preparation and execution
● Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts in partnership with the CEO and business teams
● Prepare and present monthly MIS, variance analysis, and cash flow reports to leadership
● Turn financial data into actionable insights that sharpen decision-making
● Monitor cash flows, AR/AP cycles, and working capital with precision
● Drive collections discipline and optimize payment cycles
● Support fundraising, banking relationships, and financial due diligence as needed
● Operate as a strong second-in-command to the CEO on all finance matters
● Collaborate closely with business, HR, operations, and leadership teams
● Mentor junior finance team members and build a high-performing finance function
4. Required Qualifications
a. CA (Chartered Accountant) mandatory
b. Deep command of Ind AS, financial reporting, audit cycles, governance standards, and
taxation.
c. Prior experience across finance, accounting, and compliance roles in startups, tech
companies, or fast-growing organizations preferred
d. Demonstrated ability to handle public company compliance and lead IPO preparation and execution; experience with listed-company environments and/or fundraising is a strong plus
e. Proven, hands-on track record setting up finance processes and systems
f. Sharp problem-solving instincts and genuine business acumen.

Pay: ₹447,650.67 - ₹800,000.00 per year
