Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Manager to oversee the overall execution and management of construction activities at project sites. The Site Manager will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating with project managers, architects, contractors, vendors, and workers, and ensuring that projects are completed according to approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and timelines.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to independently manage day-to-day site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of construction milestones.
- Supervise and guide site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and workers.
- Ensure proper quality control and adherence to construction standards.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and construction quality.
- Manage material requirements, deliveries, storage, and utilization.
- Monitor manpower productivity and efficient use of resources.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress records, measurements, and material records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and company policies.
- Track project schedules and report delays, risks, and issues to management.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline.
- Minimize material wastage and unnecessary expenses.
- Take overall responsibility for site execution and project delivery.
Requirements
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in construction, site management, or project execution.
- Proven experience in residential or building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and site execution.
- Ability to independently manage complete site operations.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to work on-site and take responsibility for overall project execution.
