Seller Rocket is a bootstrapped marketplace growth agency managing 200+ brand accounts across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Ajio,Etsy, and Amazon Global Selling. With a 60+ person team spread across three offices, we offer end-to-end Marketplace Management, SEO, Social Media Marketing, and Software Development services. Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to own the complete HR function at Seller Rocket. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires equal competence in people operations, talent acquisition, compliance, and culture-building. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a fast-paced agency, BPO, or tech-services environment and can independently manage a team of 60+ employees while scaling processes to support aggressive headcount growth.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all functions including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Tech, and Accounts.
- Design and maintain job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and interview frameworks for each role.
- Own the onboarding process including offer letters, documentation, system access, and policy briefing.
- Coordinate walk-in drives, campus hiring, and referral programs as required.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain complete employee records including contracts, appraisal history, leave data, and exit documentation.
- Manage confirmation processes, probation reviews, and performance improvement plans.
- Handle employee exits including resignation processing, full and final settlement, and MOU/bond recovery where applicable.
- Administer attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll inputs in coordination with the finance team.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Build, update, and enforce HR policies covering attendance, leave, mobile usage, dress code, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, gratuity, and labour law requirements across all locations.
- Draft and issue HR communications including offer letters, appointment letters, warning letters, and experience certificates.
- Maintain compliance documentation audit-ready at all times.
Performance Management
- Drive the performance appraisal cycle including goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.
- Build and maintain appraisal scorecards and KPI frameworks for each function.
- Work with department heads to identify high performers, underperformers, and training needs.
- Support increment, promotion, and variable pay decisions with structured data.
Culture, Engagement & Discipline
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, team events, and recognition programs.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and escalate appropriately.
- Enforce workplace discipline with consistency and documentation.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and professional growth.
HR Operations & Reporting
- Maintain and update HR MIS including headcount reports, attrition trackers, and hiring pipeline dashboards.
- Provide monthly HR reports to leadership covering recruitment status, attrition, attendance, and compliance.
- Continuously improve HR processes to reduce manual work and improve response time.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- MBA in HR, MSW, or equivalent post-graduate qualification in Human Resources.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Prior experience in an agency, BPO, e-commerce, or tech-services company strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing headcount of 50 or more employees.
- Exposure to multi-location HR management is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command over end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles.
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance: PF, ESI, PT, Shops & Establishments Act.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and HRMS/ATS tools.
- Excellent written communication for policy drafting, letters, and HR reports.
- High degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without dropping accountability.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving structures.

Pay: ₹15,500.29 - ₹25,414.20 per month
