Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Finishing Engineer (Civil) to join our PMC team for luxury high-rise building projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing all finishing activities, ensuring high-quality execution, timely completion, and compliance with project specifications and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all finishing works including flooring, marble, stone, painting, false ceiling, woodwork, glazing, and other architectural finishes.
- Ensure finishing activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and MEP teams for smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections, monitor work progress, and resolve site-related issues.
- Ensure proper selection, inspection, and utilization of finishing materials.
- Maintain project schedules and prepare progress reports.
- Monitor quality, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification before project handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate final inspections, snag closure, and successful project handover.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of luxury finishing materials and construction techniques.
- Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Ability to read architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of quality control and finishing standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 8 To 12 years of experience as a Finishing Engineer in luxury building projects.
- Experience with PMC or reputed construction companies will be an added advantage.
