Job Description:
What We Are Looking For:
Strong hands-on experience in writing, maintaining, and executing test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios
Proficient in writing clear, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on requirements and use cases.
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium and Postman, along with solid scripting skills using JavaScript/TypeScript
Ability to build and enhance test automation frameworks, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab
Thorough understanding of QA processes, including test planning, defect tracking (Jira), cross-browser/device testing, and collaboration in Agile/Scrum environments
Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework integrated with CI workflows
Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans for web and API-based applications
Develop, execute, and manage automation scripts using Selenium, Postman, and relevant frameworks
Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework integrated into CI/CD pipelines
Perform manual testing when needed to validate user stories and features
Conduct functional, regression, load, performance, and compatibility testing
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to identify test requirements and strategies
Track, log, and verify bugs using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure test coverage and product quality
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Minimum of 2 years of QA experience with at least 1–2 years in test automation
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for scripting automation
Knowledge of cloud-based testing and monitoring tools (AWS, CloudWatch)
Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and service-oriented architecture
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting
