About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Sourcing & Vendor Development Executive who can identify, develop and manage a strong network of manufacturing partners, artisans and suppliers across India. The role is critical in transforming design concepts into high-quality products by ensuring the right vendor ecosystem, competitive pricing, consistent quality and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new vendors, manufacturers, artisans and material suppliers across categories such as metal, wood, stone, glass, ceramics, textiles, packaging and printing.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic vendors.
- Source innovative materials, finishes, manufacturing processes and technologies aligned with premium product development.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs and commercial terms.
- Develop multiple sourcing options to reduce risk and improve competitiveness.
- Coordinate sampling, prototyping and pilot production with vendors.
- Evaluate vendors on quality, delivery, capability, compliance and cost.
- Work closely with design, production and project teams to ensure manufacturability and smooth execution.
- Maintain vendor database, costing history and material libraries.
- Visit vendor facilities regularly for audits, quality checks and relationship building.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization without compromising design intent.

- AI-aware and comfortable using AI tools for supplier research, costing comparisons and workflow automation.
