Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in building construction and PMC (Project Management Consultancy) roles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical systems in building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and related MEP services, ensuring design compliance, timely execution, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect mechanical systems such as HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, Lift, Escalator and drainage
- Review and verify mechanical design drawings, BOQs, and technical submissions
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks
- Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects, and site teams for seamless execution
- Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning, and monitor work progress
- Prepare progress reports, material tracking logs, and support project planning
- Identify and resolve site-related mechanical issues in coordination with contractors
Requirements:
- 5-6 years of experience in MEP/Mechanical systems within building projects
- Experience in PMC roles preferred
- Proficient in reviewing mechanical drawings and documentation
- Strong understanding of industry standards and safety norms
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
