Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Erection Engineer to lead and supervise steel structure, equipment, and fabrication erection activities at project sites. The candidate should have strong expertise in site execution, manpower management, safety compliance, and project coordination. Typical senior erection roles involve supervising erection teams, ensuring quality and safety standards, coordinating resources, and delivering projects within schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor erection activities as per project schedule.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and erection crews.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.
- Review drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Manage cranes, lifting equipment, and erection resources.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor manpower productivity and material utilization.
- Support commissioning and project handover activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in steel structure, PEB, industrial, or heavy equipment erection.
- Strong knowledge of erection methodologies, lifting operations, and site safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and project schedules.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
