Position Overview
Meta Design is looking for passionate and motivated Landscape Architecture Interns to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience with real projects, work closely with senior designers, and contribute to all stages of the design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in concept development, site analysis, and design presentations.
- Produce high-quality drawings, diagrams, renderings, and models for ongoing projects.
- Support the creation of detailed construction documents and planting plans.
- Conduct research on materials, planting palettes, sustainability strategies, and design precedents.
- Participate in team meetings, design reviews, site visits, and client presentations (as applicable).
- Collaborate with designers across disciplines to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or related program.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with GIS, Lumion, or other visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly—both visually and verbally.
- Passion for landscape, ecology, sustainability, and place-making.
