Job description:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Floor Manager to help oversee daily café operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the Floor Manager in leading the service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Floor Manager in supervising daily front-of-house operations.
- Ensure smooth guest service and resolve customer queries or complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain service flow and quality.
- Oversee staff performance, shift scheduling, and floor discipline.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards on the café floor.
- Support in training and motivating service staff to uphold brand standards.
- Monitor inventory of service materials and assist in daily reporting.
- Step in as acting floor manager during shifts when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory or service role (hospitality/café/restaurant preferred).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge is a plus.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
