Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
. Lead requirement gathering sessions with business and finance stakeholders to understand business needs and define project objectives.
. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
. Collaborate with Finance and business line teams to document functional and technical requirements in a clear and structured manner.
. Work closely with upstream data provider teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate end to end solution implementation.
. Perform data analysis, reverse engineering, and gap analysis to assess current and future system states.
. Identify upstream and downstream system dependencies and ensure seamless data flow across applications.
. Create and maintain business process flows, data flow diagrams, system context diagrams, and technical specifications.
. Partner with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and correctly implemented.
. Facilitate workshops, requirement review sessions, and stakeholder meetings to achieve consensus and project alignment.
. Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and other business analysts to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
. Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
. Leverage AI and data analytics capabilities to support business transformation and future initiatives.
Must Have Skills:
. Strong knowledge of finance processes and finance related applications.
. Experience with Cash Reconciliations General Ledger (GL), Sub Ledger, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Retail Reconciliations, and break management and resolution
. Strong knowledge of financial data flows, reporting and reconciliation processes
. Strong business analysis skills – elicitation, synthesis, evaluation and communication
. Strong experience of data models, data analysis, and experience in SQL, Analytical tools
. Knowledge of AI, data analytics, automation, or machine learning concepts
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
. Experience creating business requirements documents, functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and system context diagrams.
. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint planning and delivery activities.
. Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Good TO have skills:
. Experience supporting Profit & Loss (P&L) processes, valuation controls, and financial reporting.
. Hands on experience with Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) and TLM Reconciliations Premium or any other Reconciliation Tools
. Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation and data analysis
. Knowledge of ETL tools, Datastage, Apache Airflow
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
#L1-MP14 Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
