Digital Innovation and Post Harvest Fishery Literacy project-based positions to implement an initiative to bridge the digital divide among fisherwomen and enhance their incomes, skills, and market participation through ICT solutions in post-harvest fisheries.
Key Responsibilites

Community engagement & SHG mobilization: Work with women’s Self-Help Groups and community members to ensure strong local participation and ownership of the Digital Literacy program. Build trust and continuous engagement among fisherwomen and stakeholders.

Coordinate the setup and daily operation of ICT kiosks (mobile or static) in fishing harbour or fishing villages, ensuring these digital hubs are effectively providing access to information, digital services, and training to fisherwomen on post-harvest fisheries Organize and manage digital literacy and post-harvest training sessions for fisherwomen and community members, scheduling programs and ensuring necessary resources (trainers, devices, training materials) are in place.

Liaise with district-level authorities and partner organizations, including fisheries departments, local NGOs, and community leaders, to facilitate support for project interventions and smooth field operations.

Track progress of activities in their cluster; compile field reports and data on project outputs (trainings conducted, kiosk usage, beneficiary feedback) to report to the Lead Coordinator.
Qualification:

Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Fisheries, ICT,
Experience:

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in community-based project implementation or field coordination roles, preferably in rural or coastal development programs. Experience working with women’s groups or digital literacy initiatives is highly valued.

Sector knowledge: Familiarity with fisheries communities or coastal livelihood contexts (e.g. having worked with fishing cooperatives or women’s livelihood programs).

Government/NGO liaison: Prior experience engaging with local government agencies or NGOs for community development projects. Training delivery: Experience facilitating workshops or training sessions for low-literacy or rural audiences, ideally on digital or financial literacy topics.
