Requirements
- Good understanding of website testing, main concepts, processes, the whole bug life cycle, testing levels, methods, and types
- Good skills in Ad-hoc testing, functional testing, regression testing, and re-testing
- Good knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to check the responsiveness of website or mobile application
- Understand client requirements and functional specifications and knowledge of documentation, and report generation.
- Should be good in critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bugs and prioritize necessary tests and requirements.
- Monitoring errors in the system and discussing them with other colleagues
- Helping with bug detection and fixing
- Knowledge of Project Management system and flexibility to use it.
- Evaluating written code to ensure it meets project specification
- Knowledge of basic HTML, and CSS would be a plus
- Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members as well as work closely with the development team.
The profile
- Candidate should have at least 2 -3 years of experience in QA/ Testing of web-based application
- Should have hands-on experience using manual tools for testing
- A knowledge of automation testing would be an advantage
