About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Editor/Cinematographer who can handle both video shooting and post-production editing. The ideal candidate should have a strong visual sense, storytelling ability, and experience in creating high-quality cinematic content for documentaries, advertisements, social media, corporate films, events, and promotional videos.
Key Responsibilities:Cinematography:
- Plan and execute video shoots professionally.
- Operate cameras, lenses, gimbals, drones, and lighting equipment.
- Frame shots creatively with proper composition and lighting.
- Capture cinematic visuals according to project requirements.
- Coordinate with directors, clients, and production teams during shoots.
- Ensure proper audio and video quality on set.
Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into engaging final videos.
- Perform color correction and color grading.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and music.
- Sync audio and enhance overall video quality.
- Create content optimized for social media, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Manage project timelines and deliver edits within deadlines.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro (optional)
- Knowledge of camera operations and lighting techniques.
- Understanding of cinematic storytelling and pacing.
- Experience with reels, documentaries, interviews, and promotional content.
- Basic knowledge of sound design and motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Media, or related field.
- Previous experience in video production or filmmaking.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating shooting and editing skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility for travel and outdoor shoots when required.
