Key Responsibilities-
The School Counsellor is responsible for supporting students' emotional, social, behavioural, and academic well-being. The role involves providing individual and group counselling, implementing preventive mental health programmes, collaborating with teachers and parents, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Provide confidential individual and group counselling to students experiencing academic, emotional, behavioural, or social challenges.
- Conduct assessments to identify students requiring additional support.
- Develop intervention plans and monitor student progress.
- Support students during periods of crisis, transition, or significant life events.
Mental Health & Well-being
- Design and implement well-being programmes, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Promote resilience, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and positive behaviour.
- Support bullying prevention, child protection, and safeguarding initiatives.
Academic & Career Guidance
- Assist students with academic planning and study skills.
- Provide guidance on career exploration, subject selection, and higher education pathways.
- Help students identify their strengths, interests, and future goals.
Parent & Teacher Collaboration
- Work closely with teachers to identify and support students facing academic or behavioural concerns.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
