F&B Service Associate
Job Summary
The F&B Service Associate is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and high-quality food and beverage service to guests. The role ensures a pleasant dining experience by following service standards, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant and banquet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure prompt seating and service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure tables, service stations, and dining areas are clean and well maintained.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and basic complaints professionally.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up and closing restaurants, banquets, and events.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Process bills and payments as per procedures (where applicable).
- Comply with company policies, SOPs, and service guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or certificate/diploma in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Service preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in F&B service, restaurants, hotels, or resorts.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude and team spirit.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically fit to stand and work for long hours.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in restaurants, banquets, or room service operations.
- Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and basic beverage service.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
