Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Support safe transfers and repositioning of bed-bound residents to prevent pressure injuries
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
- Assist with feeding, including residents on modified diets or requiring feeding support
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of resident rooms and care areas
- Accompany residents during walks, activities, and hospital visits when required
- Follow infection control practices and facility care protocols
- Communicate respectfully with residents and family members
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass; GDA (General Duty Assistant) certification or DDNA/ANM training preferred
- 0-1+ year experience in a hospital, nursing home, elder care facility, or home care setting preferred; freshers with GDA certification may apply
- Fluency in Tamil essential; basic English or Hindi an advantage
- Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting elderly residents
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with seniors, including those with dementia
- Willing to work rotational shifts, including nights and weekends

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
