JOB SUMMARY
Catalyst Education is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team in Calicut. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, generating admissions, handling leads, and achieving monthly enrollment targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Counsel students and parents about courses and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and direct interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents regularly.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to prospective students.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in CRM.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with the Academic, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Participate in seminars, career guidance sessions, and promotional activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Any Degree.
- 0–2 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Sales, Inside Sales, or EdTech preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and sales skills can also apply.
- Excellent Malayalam and English communication skills.
- Strong counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Good follow-up and customer-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office.
