Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Engineer to oversee and monitor multiple Road and Storm Water Drain projects from our Head Office in Chennai. The ideal candidate will act as the primary link between the Head Office and project sites, ensuring smooth coordination, timely execution, and effective communication across all ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary coordination point between the Head Office and project sites.
- Monitor the daily progress of multiple Road and Storm Water Drain projects.
- Review and verify material, manpower, machinery, and resource requirements received from Site Engineers and Project Managers.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Transport, Stores, Accounts, and HR departments to ensure timely support to project sites.
- Track project schedules, progress, and pending activities, and follow up with site teams to ensure timely completion.
- Review site reports, daily progress updates, and project documentation.
- Identify project delays, resource shortages, and execution issues, and escalate them to the management with suitable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Prepare project progress reports, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Conduct periodic project review meetings with site teams.
- Visit project sites whenever required to review progress and resolve operational issues.
- Support management in project planning, monitoring, and decision-making.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil Construction Projects.
- Experience in Road Works and Storm Water Drain Projects is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, project execution, and site coordination.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and project reporting.
- Willingness to travel to project sites whenever required.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
